Oil Ministry bound to plan for managing fuel distribution

TEHRAN – Upon the announcement of the first vice president, the Ministry of Oil is bound to plan for managing fuel distribution until the end of the current month. The announcement of Parviz Davudi to the Ministry of Oil reads that “The Ministry of Oil is bound to prepare the necessary plan for managing fuel distribution until the end of the current month (May 21st).”
Also according to the same announcement, if the allocated exchange budget for importing fuel is not sufficient, the Ministry of Oil is bound to prepare a plan for rationing fuel and appointing an appropriate price for the surplus of the announced ration to be offered to the Economic Council until the end of the third month of the current year (i.e. June 21st).
The announcement concluded that until the end of the current year, the National Iranian Oil Company is bound to offer necessary facilities to all automobile owners to use gas-fueled engines; however, the announcement added that priority was with the public transportation vehicles.
